School Clothing Drive for Foster Children

For The Seventh Generation, a charitable organization that helps foster children in need, is holding a school clothing drive for foster children who do not have the clothing necessary for the upcoming school year. The drive accepts clothing in good condition and monetary donations in order to purchase clothes. Is there anything better than seeing the look on a child’s face when they receive a gift that they so desperately need?

If that isn’t enough to tug on your heart strings, we remind you that charitable donations are tax deductible. Along with the deductions, a public donation can provide excellent exposure for any small business and immediately elevate their standing within the community.

The drive is being held now through September 30 and everything helps. You can drop off donations in person at 100 Marquette Drive, Detroit, or can arrange a donation by contacting help coordinator Shirley Roseman at helpcloset@detroitlawyer.org. Monetary donations can be made online at http://www.fortheseventhgeneration.org/paypal-donations.php.

And remember, if you need any knowledge or help about IRS rules regarding tax deductions for charity, give us a call! We are always willing and ready to help.
