Detroit Metro Area – What We Love
What a blessing it is to be a part of the Detroit Metro Area. We love Detroit! There are so many great communities we like and spend time in. Although we can’t name them all, here are a few that hit our top 10! It’s not just about where you live, it’s about where you work and play.
Northville – Detroit Metro Area We Love
Northville is easy to justify. It is centrally located to so much on the 275 corridor. If you live or work in Northville, you live right in the middle of so many great attractions. Shopping, restaurants and access galore. You can easily take a jaunt up north, go to Comerica for a ball game or head up to Royal Oak for a festival. All within a half hour. Yes, that’s right! With a great real estate market and an eclectic downtown area, there is something for everyone.
Canton – Detroit Metro Area We Love
Known for Ikea, but it is so much more! Family, family, family! There is a lot of diversity here and a great place to raise children. Nationally recognized businesses are opening in Canton all the time. It is newly home to Qdoba, Black Rock Grill, Chipotle and has Ulta on it’s way. If you want to live somewhere that has everything you need within a few miles, this is it! You could go for a month without leaving! A strong school system, Chamber of Commerce and business community make Canton a great option for any family.
Livonia – Detroit Metro Area We Love
Livonia has some of the most charming neighborhoods. So many brick homes, well maintained lawns and pride in ownership. I meet many people who have lived in Livonia their whole lives. There is upscale and old school. With a rich history of being a strong and beloved place to work and raise a family. There is shopping of all kinds, and although Livonia has been a hot spot for longer than our other picks, there is still a lot of new activity. Livonia is steadfast.
Dearborn – Detroit Metro Area We Love
Our list could not be complete without Dearborn, our founding city. We have been located here since we opened. We have watched businesses go in and out. Families move. University’s and industry grow. Dearborn has a rich history in the auto and manufacturing industry. It is home of Ford Motor Company and the University of Michigan Dearborn. Within a stone’s throw of our windows are independently owned businesses of every kind. This includes spas, restaurants, record stores. We are so thankful for the many years we have spent growing here.
No time today to talk about our other favorites. What do you think? Would you like to move to or work in one of these areas? Maybe we will see you there some time!
