I admit that I HATE painting. Part of the reason I hate it, is because I am not good at it. When it comes to color and paint, you don’t have to do it on your own (although it will save you). A new color will completely change the vibe of a room.

When I married my husband and we bought a house, I was pleased to find out he could change a light fixture. I know it sounds silly, but it can completely alter the look of your room. There are thousands of options out there and many of these beauties are less than $200!

When it comes to accents, the sky is the limit. It could mean an accent color or an accent piece. This encompasses knick-knacks, throw pillows, rugs and more. You can change the entire feeling of a room just by changing the accents. I feel it is especially prudent to design your rooms with your own steadfast style. Than you can use different accent pieces and colors to change things up as time goes on and trends evolve.
