August 2018 Community Events In Livonia, Michigan

Each month we love to share the events happening in our community and August 2018 is almost upon us! We try to recommend something for everyone. Spending time with your family or friends is so important. Enjoy this last month of summer before school starts! Sooner rather than later we will be right back in the swing of things!

Wilson Barn Market – August 2018

Make plans to visit the Wilson Barn Market every Saturday from July 7 to October 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wilson Barn is located at 29350 West Chicago Street and Middle Belt Road.

Come shop the rainbow of produce offered at The Wilson Barn Market! From locally grown eggplant to strawberries and everything in between, fill your basket with Michigan grown goodness.

Local crafters share their talents at the farmers market, offering hand-made crafts for your home, yourself, or your loved ones!  Grab a home-baked treat while you browse the vendors.

Please note the Market will not be open on Saturday, September 1.

The Wilson Barn Market is still accepting applications for food growers and cottage food vendors. They are also looking to add a hot dog vendor. If you are a non-profit that is looking to connect with the local community, the Market offers an opportunity each Saturday to use the Barn at no cost.

If you are interested in being a part of this Livonia summer tradition as a vendor or a non-profit,  please contact Karen DePerro at (734) 261-3602.
