Here are a few of the upcoming September activities that we recommend checking into. We love being a part of the Livonia Community. There is always something going on and wonderful selection of events for the whole family!

Fall Flea Market

at Greenmead Historical Park

Sunday, September 10        10:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Gree​nmead Historical Park

Come shop from 180 vendors selling a wide variety of items.  Bring your cart or wagon to make your shopping easier.
Admission:  $2.00 for adults, children under 12 free.  Parking is free.  Refreshments available on site.  Some village buildings will be open for touring.

***No dogs are permitted at this event***

Vendors:  Please contact the office after June 4 to be placed on the mailing list.  Applications are sent by mail only.  Spaces are on a first come, first serve.  Cash or check only.

Kids Night Out! – September 15th

Who:    Ages 5-12
When:  September 15th
6 – 10 p.m.
Where: Kirksey Recreation Center

FRIDAY NIGHTS ROCK!  Parents, enjoy a night to yourselves while we provide food and entertainment for your children.  Every third Friday of the month your kids will have a blast in the leisure pool, rock climbing, playing games, watching a movie, eating pizza and pop.  Send your kids off to have fun while you relax and take a much-deserved break.  Pre-registration required.  Register now!  Limit 40 per night – spots fill quickly!

Check-in begins at 5:45 p.m.

Fee:   Members $17, Residents $20, Non-Residents $22

The Civil War: A Living History Event

at Greenmead Historical Park

Saturday, September 23        10:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Presented by the 17th Michigan, Company E Volunteer Infantry

What to See: Military Camp Life, Drills, Demonstrations, and Equipment, Medical Practices & Field Surgery,
Civilian Life, Courting & Mourning Practices, Fashions, Phrenology, Letter Reading, & much, much more!

This event is a great opportunity for students of all ages to learn about life during the Civil War era.

Visit the Historic Newburg Church to see a large collection of Civil War era clothing and accessories.
