Looking Forward To November Activities in Livonia!

I am so excited for the community activities in Livonia for this November! We are looking forward to some great ones as we kick off the holiday season. Our community has so much to offer and there are many more events listed on the City of Livonia website!

12th Annual Livonia Turkey Trot

Join the Livonia Parks and Recreation Department as we walk/run to help the less fortunate at the 12th Annual Livonia Turkey Trot! This 5K Fun Walk/Run takes place on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Bicentennial Park and is open to all ages to participate.

Check-In begins at 8:30 a.m. and the Walk/Run begins at 9:30 a.m. There is a $15/per person registration fee.

Bring a can food donation to be entered in our drawing for great gift certificates and prizes!  All proceeds and canned food donations will be given to the Livonia Goodfellows organization, which will provide families in need in Livonia with a Christmas dinner.

Dive in Movie Night! – November 11th

Dive in Movie Night featuring Disney’s Moana

Check In Starts:  5:00 p.m.
Movie Starts:      5:30 p.m.
Where:               Kirksey Recreation Center Lap Pool

Fees:     $5.00 per person per Wet (swimming) Ticket
$4.00 per person per Dry (non-swim) Ticket
$1.00 raft rental (limited quantity)

Get your family and friends together for a movie night you won’t forget!  Ditch the stuffy living room and relax in an inflatable raft in our Lap Pool while we show a popular movie on our full color LED scoreboard!  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Any person in attendance must be able to swim or have the use of a Coast Guard approved life jacket/vest.
