Work Hard, Play Hard: Senior Citizen Edition

The article below goes into detail about the new look of retirement. People are no longer leaving work at 65 and playing golf every day. Now, retirees are starting their own businesses and taking up hobbies they wouldn’t have been able to do when they were younger. My dad will be a part of this group when he retires in a few years. He has worked for UPS for over 20 years and his retirement is imminent. He has always loved cooking and feeding people. A few years ago he started a catering company as a side job and will continue with it when he retires.

If your retirement is looming it’s time to start brainstorming! What hobbies or jobs have you put off pursuing because life was holding you back?
