Selling my extra items online for cash is one of my favorite ways to make some extra money! It also helps my family manage our space and it is an easy way to de-clutter. It also makes room for new things! I have found you can sell just about ANYTHING online. I have found the options to be easier than ever before.

There are many sites to use these days and it has become easier and easier to list things! My newest favorite is to list things on my Facebook Marketplace. I like this option because you can often see who is looking at your items or coming to pick them up. You can also easily converse with them through Facebook Messenger. Some other options are Craigslist, Ebay, Amazon, Poshmark, LetGo and more!

Simple & Easy Tips For Selling Your Items Online

• Photos, photos and more photos: Nothing is more frustrating then looking at an online item and there is only one little picture. Almost all of us have smart phones with amazing cameras on them. When you are listing an item, make sure there is at least five photos from different angles and that the photos highlight the flaws as well as showing off the item.
• Be specific: Make sure to answer all of the typical questions with your description. This includes the size, condition and brand of the product. This saves you from having to answer unnecessary questions.
• Use a searchable title: Don’t use symbols or unnecessary words in the title. For instance, instead of “Really Cute Brown Sweater w/ Fringe” you could say “Brown Sweater Size Small Fringe Anthropologie”
• Keep your listing active: Make sure to respond to messages and when it offers you the option to “share” “bump” or “reactivate” your listing, do it!
• Price it right: Check similar listings to yours and see how they are priced. Keep in mind, that it isn’t how much the item is worth to YOU, it is how much someone is willing to pay for it. My advice is not to overprice your items!
