A part of every great family budget is family activities. Here are just a few of the upcoming events in Livonia, Michigan that we recommend for you and your family! There is something for everyone in this wonderful community and it doesn’t need to break the bank either!

Dive In Movie Night!

Get your family and friends together for Dive In Movie Night on Saturday, Mar. 3 at the Kirksey Recreation Center! Ditch the stuffy living room and relax in an inflatable raft in our Lap Pool while we show a popular movie on our full color LED scoreboard!

Check in begins at 5 p.m. and the movie starts at 5:30 p.m. Prices are $5 per person for a Wet Ticket (swimming) and $4 per person for a Dry Ticket (non-swimming).  There is a limited quantity of rafts available for rent for $1 each.

You should register before hand because we have limited space. Kids under 16 must be with an adult and any person in who comes to the event must be able to swim or have the use of a Coast Guard approved life jacket/vest.

Frog & Toad Workshop

Friends of the Rouge’s mission is to restore, protect and enhance the Rouge River watershed through stewardship, education and collaboration.

This event will be held Saturday March 17 10 a.m. – noon, at the Livonia Civic Center Library, 32777 5 Mile Rd

Previously Enjoyed Jewelry Sale

at Greenmead Historical Park

Come shop our large selection of previously enjoyed jewelry on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alexander Blue House. All proceeds benefit the restoration and preservation of Greenmead.

Do you have previously enjoyed jewelry you wish to donate? Donations can be made at Greenmead, 20501 Newburgh, and the Senior Center, 15218 Farmington Rd.
